We’re looking for a QA Engineer with Appian expertise to help ensure our applications deliver seamless functionality, reliability, and performance. In this role, you’ll play a key part in validating Appian workflows, testing application features and integrations, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers and business stakeholders to turn requirements into high-quality solutions.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in designing and developing Appian applications, including process models, rules, and interfaces.
- Strong understanding of BPMN concepts and workflow design principles.
- Experience with integrations using Appian's integration components (REST, SOAP, etc.).
- Knowledge of Appian architecture, deployment methodologies, and security best practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Job Description:
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and understand application needs.
- Design, develop, and configure Appian-based applications based on specifications and user stories.
- Customize Appian objects, including process models, user interfaces, business rules, and integrations.
- Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of developed applications.
- Assist in the deployment and implementation of Appian solutions, adhering to best practices and guidelines.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for Appian applications, addressing technical issues and enhancements.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and processes for reference and future maintenance.
- Stay updated with Appian platform upgrades, new features, and best practices to continuously improve development processes
Qualification:
- Experience working on multiple full-cycle Appian implementations.
- Knowledge of other programming languages (Java, JavaScript, etc.) for custom integrations or extensions.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies for software development.
