The SideKick’s advanced battery chemistry allows it to provide both longer laptop operational time and longer battery life span. The SideKick is a 120-watt external power source that can drive most major brand of laptop up to 3 to 4 times longer than their original battery. The SideKick’s usable life span is more than twice that of traditional Lithium-Ion batteries used in laptop computing. The new 2008 SideKick is now available in customized versions for most brands of laptop including HP, Dell and Apple MacBook.
The eCharger provides a portable means to simultaneously charge and deliver up to 16 SideKick battery packs. The “eCharger” mobile charging station features 6” solid rubber wheels, a retractable handle, and an internal power management and cooling system. The eCharger moves easily throughout the classrooms to deliver the SideKick batteries to the students as needed. The eCharger is designed to fully charge the SideKicks overnight from one standard wall outlet without overloading the electrical circuit. Multiple eChargers can be used simultaneously without the need for additional electrical wiring.
