HP Identity Management Consultant

Description:
SPS is seeking a technical individual with a minimum of 3 years hands-on experience with Identity and Access Management and HP Select Identity software production experience. Must have installed, implemented and deployed these type of tools in multiple sites, or must have installed, implemented, deployed and had overall responsibility for maintaining and utilizing these type of tools in a single production environment over an extended period of time.
The right candidate will wear many hats and be willing to take on many different responsibilities within both the area of pre-sales and post sales implementation delivery in order to grow a new business opportunity within a well established 15 year old small business with a track record of success in other business units.
As the business grows and other technical staff is required, this individual will serve in a leadership role to help hire, train and direct the activities of others. When a critical mass is reached in the business (as determined by profit and loss statements and SPS management), if this individual has demonstrated the necessary skills, leadership and aptitude, they will have the opportunity to move into a full-time role of Professional Services Manager continuing in that position to help further expand the business.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with customers to understand their business and technical needs
- Work with the SPS Account Manager (sales person) to architect and propose a solution
- Create formal proposal documents with detailed Statement of Work to present solution to customer
- Provide accurate time and cost estimates for the Statement of Work (SOW)
- Assist the Account Manager in presenting and supporting the proposed solution to the customer
- Undertake solution requirements, architecture and design
- Implement, and customize when required, the solution at the customer site
- Serve as Project Manager to keep work on schedule and on budget
- Manage implementation efforts of others if a team approach is required
- Meet with customer to communicate progress and schedule resources to keep project on track
- Communicate issues and risk to SPS Account Manager and customer Project Manager
- Develop test cases
- Generate test requirements documents and oversee acceptance testing
- Provide Knowledge Transfer to customer as required by SOW
- Create and provide to customer final documentation covering initial requirements, modified requirements, final architecture and solution design as delivered.
- Periodically report to SPS management on goals, activity, progress and results of position
- Report real-time to SPS management any critical issues that may arise that would affect customer satisfaction and demonstrate sound judgment in knowing when to do so
Skills:
- Expert in HP Select Identity, Select Access, Select Federation or similar software tools
- J2EE technologies and Java development skills
- Expert in Identity and Access Management solution architecture and design
- Ability to quickly learn customer applications and perform integrations when required
- Workflow skills
- Thorough understanding of application and web server technology
- Experience with one or more of Web Application Server, Database, Directory Server, etc.
- Project Management experience
- Familiarity with ITIL and IT Service Management is desirable
- Good verbal and written communication and people skills
- A high level of creativity and independent thinking
- Self-starter who can operate independently
Certification:
Certification in any of the products or technologies listed is highly desirable HP Select Identity Training
