Hash Malik Hash Malik founded Software Productivity Strategists (SPS) in 1993 to provide integration management and security for customers using complex Hewlett-Packard systems. Mr. Malik relied upon more than 10 years of sales and technical experience at HP in determining the direction of the company. Over the past 12 years Mr. Malik has lead the company in achieving recognition as a strategic partner for HP OpenView and IBM Tivoli products. Mr. Malik received a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering and a Masters Degree in Computer Science, both from Memphis State University. Mr. Malik also earned a Masters of Administration Sciences from Johns Hopkins University. He periodically teaches Computer Sciences at Johns Hopkins where he has been recognized as a Fellow at the John Hopkins University Information Security Institute. John Guy John Guy joined SPS in 2002 to provide strategic direction, assistance with partner alliances, and sales management expertise. He has directed the company in the acquisition of a GSA Schedule and has been influential in expanding SPS participation in large Federal contracts. Mr. Guy has worked within SPS to focus company resources on consulting and support in the areas of Identity Management and Access Management. This focus has enabled the company to be recognized in the past year as a leading Tivoli Access Management partner for IBM and as the only authorized training partner in the U. S. for Hewlett Packard Select Access. Prior to joining SPS, Mr. Guy worked at Hewlett-Packard Company where he served as Vice President and General Manager of HP’s Public Sector Organization. He received his degree from the Pennsylvania State University. Neelofar Malik Vice President - Operations Neelofar Malik is a cofounder of Software Productivity Strategists and has been active in the company since its inception in 1993. In her current capacity as Vice President of Operations she has been responsible for the creation of expense management processes that have contributed greatly to the companies profitability as well as the development of a competitive benefits program that enables employees to share in the company's success. In 2003, Ms. Malik led SPS into a new line of business - Web Event Management Services. This business has grown from zero to become a significant contributor to the overall SPS portfolio. After receiving her MBA from Quaid-e-Azam University in Islamabad, Pakistan, Ms. Malik served in various capacities within the tech industry before founding SPS. Mark Weinel Mark Weinel joined SPS in 1999 to provide training and consulting services as part of the HP OpenView Team. In his current role of Vice President of Consulting Services, Mr. Weinel leads the SPS services delivery team. As a Certified HP OpenView Identity Management Professional, he has provided Identity Management Training to many customers and partners. As a Certified HP OpenView Service Desk Professional, he has educated customers on the values of the IT Infrastructure Library Best Practices and used the Service Desk Tool to provide those processes to drive the business environment. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University, PA and a Masters of Science degree in ElectricalEngineering / Telecommunications from Johns Hopkins University, MD.
Harvey Flatt Harvey Flatt joined SPS in 2007 to lead the company’s business development activities, build a sales team to support SPS’ growth plans, and manage all customer relations programs. Mr. Flatt has 15 years of computer hardware and software sales and sales management experience at Hewlett Packard and after leaving HP managed business development and sales for several HP resellers, most recently for one of HP’s largest international OpenView partners. Mr. Flatt provides the leadership for a focused corporate philosophy at SPS of exceeding customer expectations. Mr. Flatt earned a BS in electrical engineering at The George Washington University in Washington, DC and an MSEE at the University of California, Berkeley, CA. He worked as a civilian electrical engineer with the U.S. Navy before starting his career in sales and marketing.
Mary Stang HR Manager Mary Stang joined SPS in 1996 to provide SPS with general administrative and accounting support to the Operations department. Currently, Ms. Stang manages Human Resources for SPS. In her role as the HR manager, Ms. Stang is responsible for the hiring, training and benefit programs for SPS employees. Ms. Stang also serves as the manager for the Authorized Independent Training Provider program for IBM Software where she coordinates all activities for successful delivery of public and private training classes. She received an Associate of Arts degree from Marymount University in Arlington, VA.
